interactive street party banquet table installation
I Do!; Victoria and Albert Museum, 2011
Laser-cut timber structure, cable rigging for paper bunting
.......................................
This interactive installation was located in the courtyard of the museum during the Royal Wedding themed Friday Late Event. Taking the lead from the street parties happening throughout the country, we designed a bright red banqueting table featuring a love tree overlooking the courtyard pool. The public were invited to annotate paper buntings with personal messages which were strung up between the lampposts. The installation was a great success!

This project was designed and constructed by Catriona Mole and Ceri Williams with Tommi Zhou and Jamie Hughes.
